Social Impact

The Lexington team creates value in their local communities by spending time volunteering and engaging with local groups, sharing skills and experience to make a lasting difference.

We support the community in many ways…

Alzheimer's Society

Alzheimer's Society

We are proud to work with our Charity partner, Alzheimer’s Society, the UK’s leading dementia charity. Alzheimer’s Society aims to support anyone affected by dementia, campaigning to change, fund research to find a cure and support people living with dementia today. Our colleagues have taken part in several fundraising activities for Alzheimer’s Society, including 26 miles treks, Tough Mudder, and Manchester Marathon, amongst many other personal challenges.

Volunteering

Our teams share our commitment to making a real difference to our local community. Each member of the Lexington team is given two paid volunteering days throughout the year to dedicate to good causes. They actively seek out opportunities to make a difference through volunteering, sharing their skills or fundraising.

We work with the team to support a variety of charities. These include children’s charity, Dreams Come True, and Refettorio Felix, at St. Cuthbert’s Centre – a charity that sustains and supports vulnerable people with positive and warm therapeutic services relieve poverty, hardship, sickness and distress.

Helping our clients support their local community

We work closely with our clients to help them support their local community. Our team at Devonshire Square regularly organise events to connect people, raise awareness of important issues and fundraise for various charities.

From 30th November 2019 to 7th January 2020, Devonshire Square hosted its iconic Giving Tree, a unique Christmas tree entirely adorned with red paper hearts on which wishes expressed by homeless people supported by The Connection Charity were carefully transcribed, in order to give them a chance to be read and honoured by visitors. All donated gifts were delivered to The Connection charity via courier over the festive season.

The Giving Tree, created by the Devonshire Square Events Team in December 2015, has helped hundreds of homeless people to receive a thoughtfully made gift for Christmas and has been visited annually by people from all over London.
