Last week we took a little time away from the office, over lunch, to visit the Harlequin Euro Festival, at Devonshire Square.
What a treat it was! There was such a vibrant atmosphere in the square, with lots of different foodie stalls in the World Food Market offering a selection of different dishes.
We got there just in time to see a Parisian Moulin Rouge Can-Can themed show, by Tillie’s Can Can, who performed in Devonshire Square’s Western Courtyard.
The performers were amazing and the atmosphere came alive as they started dancing. The show did what our team set out today – it created a real buzz and got strangers speaking to one another and people laughing. It certainly took our mind off work for half an hour and provided a nice break away from the office.
The majority of the shows, at Devonshire Square, take place over lunch to give employees in the district the opportunity to escape work for fifteen minutes and go back to work feeling uplifted and energised.
