Lexington identified in London Stock Exchange’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’

Today Lexington has been identified as one of London Stock Exchange’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain. The report is a celebration of the UK’s fastest-growing and most dynamic businesses.

To be included in the list, companies needed to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years, significantly outperforming their industry peers. More detail on the methodology can be found in the report online at www.1000companies.com.

Mike Sunley, CEO of Lexington, has been the driving force behind the business since establishing it in 2002. He says, “We are proud to be recognised as one of Britain’s most inspiring companies. We’ve gone through lots of changes within Lexington and the foodservice industry as whole but our team has enabled us to remain as strong as ever.

“We really do love what we do here at Lexington. We focus our attention on achieving the very best experiences for our team, clients and customers and our growth is a reflection of this.”

Lexington has been recognised by The Sunday Times as one of the Best Companies to Work For and the Investors in People as an employer of choice.

Writing in the publication, The Rt. Hon. George Osborne MP said: “UK high-growth businesses are leading the charge in rebuilding our economy. These companies are the backbone of the British economy. They create high-quality, well paid jobs, innovate and drive economic growth. This government fully understands the need to support ambitious entrepreneurs and ensure they can access the finance they need to grow.”
